Kimberly Lysak - Senior Appraiser North America

Kimberly is a Senior Certified Aircraft Appraiser by the National Aircraft Appraisers Association (NAAA) and now the Professional Aircraft Appraisers Organization (PAAO) and is also a Candidate for Senior Appraisership with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Three distinguished organizations with exacting standards. Kim has also received the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) qualified designation; a distinguished appointment only earned by those who meet a high level of credibility within a nationally recognized set of standards and rules.

Kim started her career 20 years ago in Aviation at the age of 17 with her Private Pilot License and went directly to University to achieve a Degree from UBC in Commercial Aviation Technology where she attained her Commercial license, Multi-engine rating, and IFR ratings.

She found a passion for teaching flying in 2002 starting as a class 4 instructor and quickly earning a Class 1 designation, the highest instructor designation in Canada. She has taught for private schools, air cadet squadrons, business owners and Universities. When she decided it was time for bigger aircraft, she landed (pun intended) a job with Alta flights to be first officer gaining experience with turbines and 704 operations. She has flown Twin Otters, King Airs, Caravans, Metros, Dorniers, and all makes of piston aircraft as well.

Kimberly also shares her love and passion of aviation with The Edmonton Airshow, soon to be home of the International Air Races where she gladly took on the role of VP of Sponsorships and Foundation Development. Kim is working closely with Richard Skermer and the team to create a world class Air Summit to showcase Alberta as the premier centre for aviation excellence.

However teaching will always be close to Kims heart, so she will take a select few commercial pilots and turn them into instructors for the Calgary Flying Club. A historic establishment that opened in 1927 at the Springbank Airport that recently announced its innovation to become the Calgary Aviation College.

Kim volunteers as the social chair Woman in Aviation - Rocky Mountain High Chapter.

Since starting out on her own March 2017, Kimberly has brought on an Expert Warbird and vintage aircraft consultant, Heli consultant and works closely with airline experts for valuation of any aircraft you have..
